DREADBURROW / IMP-01 COMMUNITY
Privacy notice
Effective 18 October 2026. This notice covers the Dreadburrow project website and IMP-01 Community, the project operator’s tool for its own YouTube channel. Questions and requests: imp01chronicle@gmail.com.
What this site does
This is an informational website. It has no visitor account registration, payment form, mailing-list signup, advertising, or project-installed analytics. Images and styles are served with the site. Links to YouTube and X open those services; there are no embedded video players. Our hosting and delivery providers, OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare, may process technical request information such as IP addresses, browser information, and security logs to deliver and protect the site. Their handling is described in OpenAI’s Privacy Policy and Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.
What IMP-01 Community accesses
The application uses YouTube API Services. Only the project operator connects a Google account, for the IMP-01 channel. Website visitors do not need to authorize Google access. The application reads the authorized channel identity and published comments and replies, including text, public author identifiers and display names, video and comment identifiers, timestamps, and conversation context. It keeps reply decisions and identifiers to avoid duplicates, opt-out preferences, game suggestions with source links, and dated channel-performance observations.
The Google permission youtube.force-ssl is broader than comment replies and can permit changes to videos, ratings, comments, and captions. Our community workflow is limited to reading the project channel and sending relevant replies authorized by its operator. It does not use this permission to delete viewers’ comments or read private messages. OAuth tokens are stored separately in restricted local files and are not placed on this website or in AI prompts.
Why data is used and who receives it
Comment context is used to prepare relevant replies, honor opt-outs, prevent duplicate responses, and evaluate suggestions for the game. The operator uses OpenAI services through Codex for AI-assisted processing of that context. A posted reply is sent to YouTube and is public under the IMP-01 channel. The operator can review the community records and decisions. The project does not sell this information or use it for advertising, credit decisions, or training its own general-purpose AI models.
IMP-01 Community’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Google-derived information is used only for the community features described here. No additional model provider or always-on server is active; this notice will be updated before introducing one.
Storage and retention
The current community workflow runs on the operator’s computer. The operator reviews retention manually: stored YouTube comment data and attributable source records are refreshed from the source or removed within 30 calendar days. Dated analytics records may be retained while needed to assess the project’s own channel, with authorization and source availability rechecked at least every 30 days. Raw operational captures containing user data follow the same 30-day limit. Copies under the project’s control, including backups, are included in removal requests. We do not claim that an automated cleanup service is running.
Minimal opt-out preferences are retained while needed to honor the request; you may request their removal too. OAuth credentials are retained while the operator authorizes the connection and are removed when the connection is discontinued. Records that no longer serve these purposes are removed.
Your choices, access, and deletion
To stop replies, tell IMP-01 in a comment or email the address above with a link to your channel or comment. To request access, correction, or deletion of project-held records, email the same address and identify the relevant comment or channel. We will request only information needed to match the records and will delete them as soon as possible, within seven calendar days of a valid request. A deletion request also stops further processing of the identified records. No passport or account password is required.
Deleting our copies does not remove the original content from YouTube. You control that content through YouTube. The channel operator may revoke IMP-01 Community’s Google access at Google Account connections; after a revocation is detected, processing stops and associated authorized data is removed within seven calendar days. For Google’s own practices, see Google’s Privacy Policy.
Changes and contact
Material changes to data use or providers will be explained here before they are enabled. The effective date identifies the current notice. Contact the project operator at imp01chronicle@gmail.com with privacy questions or complaints.
